ClearSpace is designed to help you identify duplicate or large media and manage contacts while prioritizing on-device processing and data minimization.
1. Information We Access
- Photos and Videos: With your permission, ClearSpace scans your media library to find similar photos, screenshots, and large videos.
- Contacts: With your permission, ClearSpace reads contact records to help detect duplicates for merge review.
- Notifications (optional): If enabled, ClearSpace sends reminders about storage-cleaning tasks.
2. How Information Is Processed
Media and contact analysis is performed locally on your device. ClearSpace does not upload your personal photos, videos, or contacts to external servers for analysis.
3. Data Collection and Sharing
ClearSpace does not sell your personal information. We do not run ad-targeting profiles based on your personal media or contacts.
Diagnostic data may be processed by Apple according to your device analytics settings.
4. Purchases
If you purchase premium features, billing is processed by Apple through your App Store account. ClearSpace does not receive your full payment card details.
5. Data Retention
App-generated records are stored on your device and remain until you remove them or uninstall the app.
6. Children’s Privacy
ClearSpace is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Your Choices
- You can revoke permissions any time in iOS Settings.
- You can remove app data by uninstalling the app.
- You can contact us to request privacy support.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material updates will be reflected by changing the Last Updated date above.
