PawScan helps pet owners scan pet food barcodes and ingredient labels to provide informational health insights.

Information We Collect

• Pet profile information you choose to enter (for example pet name, species, breed, allergies, and health conditions).
• Scan-related data you create in the app (for example barcode lookups, ingredient text, scan history, and favorites).
• Technical diagnostics, such as crash and performance data, when enabled by your device settings.

How We Use Information

• Provide scan analysis, ingredient insights, and personalized recommendations.
• Maintain app reliability, security, and fraud prevention.
• Improve product quality and user experience.

Data Storage and Sharing

PawScan does not sell your personal information. Data is primarily stored on your device. To look up product information, limited request data (such as barcode values or extracted ingredient text) may be sent to trusted food information providers.

Subscriptions and Purchases

Paid features are managed through Apple In-App Purchase. PawScan does not process your payment card details directly.

Your Choices

• You can edit or remove profile data in the app.
• You can clear scan history and favorites from within the app.
• You can revoke camera or photo permissions in iOS Settings at any time.

Children's Privacy

PawScan is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
