This Privacy Policy explains how AI VoiceNotes Pro ("we", "our", "us") handles information when you use the mobile application and related features.
AI VoiceNotes Pro includes local note features and optional cloud features. The data processed depends on your settings and how you use the app.
1. Information We Process
- Audio recordings and transcripts: Voice notes you create, plus transcribed text.
- Images and OCR text: Photos captured or selected for text extraction, and extracted text results.
- Links and imported content: URLs you provide and summarized text generated from fetched page content.
- AI-generated note metadata: Summaries, titles, tags, and action items generated from your content.
- Account data: Anonymous authentication identifiers and, if you sign in, account identifiers such as email or Sign in with Apple credentials handled via Firebase Authentication.
- Purchase status: Subscription and entitlement status from Apple In-App Purchase / StoreKit.
- Technical diagnostics: Basic app and device diagnostics provided by Apple or Firebase to operate and improve reliability.
2. Permissions
- Microphone: To record voice notes.
- Speech Recognition: To convert speech to text.
- Camera: To capture images for OCR note creation.
- Photo Library: To select images for OCR note creation.
3. How Your Data Is Used
We process data to provide core app functionality, including recording, transcription, search, sync, AI enhancements, and subscription access control.
- Create and manage notes and note history.
- Provide optional cloud sync and cloud-generated note workflows.
- Generate AI summaries, tags, and structured note outputs.
- Operate subscriptions, restore purchases, and verify entitlements.
- Maintain app security, stability, and abuse prevention.
4. Local vs Cloud Processing
Some features can run locally on your device. If cloud features are enabled, note data (including audio files, transcripts, metadata, and related content) may be uploaded to cloud services for storage and processing.
5. Third-Party Services
AI VoiceNotes Pro relies on third-party providers to deliver certain features:
- Apple: Speech framework, iCloud/OS services, and StoreKit for payments.
- Google Firebase: Authentication, Firestore database, Cloud Functions, and Storage for optional cloud functionality.
- Google Gemini API: AI text generation features when configured/enabled.
These services may process data according to their own privacy terms.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers required to operate app features (for example, cloud storage, authentication, AI processing, and billing).
7. Data Retention
Data is retained for as long as needed to provide the app functionality you use, unless you delete content, disable cloud use, request deletion where applicable, or uninstall the app.
8. Your Choices
- Revoke permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
- Manage or cancel subscriptions in App Store account settings.
- Delete notes within the app and uninstall to remove local app data.
9. Children's Privacy
AI VoiceNotes Pro is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. International Transfers
Depending on the services you enable, data may be processed in countries other than your own through cloud infrastructure providers.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the Last Updated date above.
